I have 2 opinions on this issue. 1st, if you can get the pcmcia -> pci
card, then your going to be golden on most pcmcia wifi cards that you
can choose from. Second, if not then go with linksys, or orinico...

You may have to use blobs to get it to work, but I have been
successful getting it to work. Also, I have had annoying success
getting netopia to work as the usb form.

This is an area of linux hardware support, that if I were far
wealthier I would open up a lab for the sole purpose or reverse
engineering these devices. I know I am getting off on a tangent, but
gprs/edge, and video cards would also be heavily targeted as well.

Getting back on target, the ubuntu fourms have a lot of good wifi
    linux material.

    Sincerely,
    Andrew
